Place: Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health, 299 Montreal Road, Ottawa ON, Cultural Gathering Space

Braiding Sweetgrass sold over 2 million copies. With a gentle and inspirational reminder of our relationship to plants, Potawatomi author Robin Wall Kimmerer gave us the loving nudge to reconnect to our roots. (And stems, and flowers, and bark, and even pond scum!)
A decade later, the book is still transforming hearts and minds. Monique Gray Smith (Cree, Lakota, Scottish descent), joined with her friend Robin to reimagine Braiding Sweetgrass for children and youth.
Join us for an intimate evening with Robin and Monique as they discuss their books and share their unique bundle of knowledge. Moderated by Shelagh Rogers.
